The Valet Manager Provider website offers two ways to search for Closed tickets. To start a search, click on CUSTOMER INFO -> Closed Tickets on the left side menu of the provider site.
Each method is separated into its own tab as shown below. The two search methods are SEARCH and VIEW ALL.
The SEARCH method allows you to search through your entire portfolio of garages without choosing a specific location (unless desired - do this by selecting the garage from the drop-down Garage menu).
When using this method, the search engine does NOT match partial searches; you will need to know the specific ticket number/plate/reservation/hotel number/coupon. For example, if you are looking for reservation 12459908, simply type that value in the Reservation Number and click the blue SEARCH button to see if that reservation number exists in any of your garages.
Note that the ticket search may retrieve multiple instances of the same ticket number. The system periodically recycles ticket numbers but the information for each transaction is unique and has its own identifier in the VM database.
The VIEW ALL method allows you to specify a date range for a search, but you are required to select a garage in order to perform the search.
This search method does allow you to perform partial searches (eg. searching 102 will return all ticket numbers with this set of numbers)
Clicking in the Search box will also bring up additional search tags to help narrow your search to specific fields such as Make, Reservation Code, or Hotel Name. Any matching tickets with the supplied information will then be populated in a list.
Once a set of ticket numbers is presented, the list can then be sorted using the 4 drop down menus below the Search box. You can sort your search list using two criteria (Sort A, then Sort B) and can be organized in Ascending or Descending order.
