On the backoffice.valetmanager.com, navigate to the Rates and Coupons section on the left side menu. You may need to request access to this module if it is not available in the menu.
Select Create Rate Cards to start creating a rate. Select the desired garage, add a name, and a Start/End date for the rate (if applicable). To create a Coupon/Booklet, select SPECIAL RATE, and enable the Coupons toggle in the options on the right.
On the Criteria page, add any applicable Entry and Exit parameters, as well as other settings such as audit requirements (signature, attendant fingerprint validation, etc.), limited payment options, and email alerts for when the rate is applied. Toggle Yes for "Allow use with coupons and reservation" option on this page.
If Validated Amount is toggled Yes, the option to apply multiple coupons to one ticket becomes available. This feature is useful for Booklet-type coupons that can be stacked in order to pay for the full value of a transient ticket.
On the Rates page, the pricing structure of the Coupon/Booklet can be set per the normal rate card functions, including hourly-based pricing, discount pricing from posted rates (both percentage and flat value), and hours off the current stay duration. If Validated Amount and multiple coupons were selected in the previous page, each coupon scan will apply the coupon up to the total parking duration on this page. For example, in the screen below, 2 scans of this coupon will apply 28 hours of parking for a price of $24 dollars total.
Additionally, fees based on vehicle size can be added on this page.
On the Check & Create page, a final review is provided prior to saving the Coupon/Booklet for the current garage selected. If any changes are needed, return to the previous changes, otherwise click Create to save the Coupon/Booklet to the Garage.
Click on View Rate Cards in the Rates and Coupons section, and use the drop down menu to select the garage for the Coupon/Booklet (if not already selected). Click on the Coupon/Booklet rate name to expand the information for that rate, as shown below.
From the above dialog box, the number of coupons or booklets may be typed into the appropriate field, and then downloaded.
Coupons are produced in sheets of 30 coupons per page, and booklets print in sheets of 2 individual booklet sets per page. 30 coupons = 1 page. 2 booklet sets = 1 page.
Clicking Download Coupons or Download Booklets will produce a PDF file. Select a save location for the file, and click save.
The Coupons/Booklet can then be printed to the label sheets, using 100% scaling.
Coupons and Booklet labels are one-time use and randomly generated for security purposes.
