Event Mode allows the point of sale to select a Special Rate to be automatically assigned to each transient ticket created for a specified duration. For example, an Event Mode for a wedding rate can be set to apply for all transient tickets created from the time the Event Mode is started until 5PM the next day.
To enter Event Mode, start from the home screen. Select MENU -> START EVENT.
From the popup window, select the Special Rate that will be applied to all transient tickets for the duration of the event. Any Special Rate saved for the garage will show up on this list. Only one Special Rate may be used for Event Mode. As with any Special Rate, the Event Mode Special Rate can be removed at checkout if needed (for example if you need to apply a different Special Rate for a specific customer).
Select the date and time for the end of the event in the following screens.
The Event Mode and Special Rate will appear across the top of the home screen once all settings are confirmed. The Event Mode will expire when the selected end date and time are reached. You may have to refresh the home screen by navigating to a different screen (such as MENU) in order to see that the Event Mode has ended. For two-lane systems, activating Event Mode on one unit will trigger event mode for all point of sale units in the garage. Again, you will have to navigate away from the home screen in order to get the Event Mode to display across the top of the screen.
To end Event Mode prior to the selected end date, select MENU -> STOP EVENT. The homescreen may need to be refreshed to reflect the changes on all point of sale units in the garage (refresh the screen by navigating to a different screen such as MENU or NEW TICKET).
